Connor Duffin

I am a Research Software Engineer in the Biodiversity Futures Lab at the Natural History Museum in London. I lead the software engineering behind the Biodiversity Intactness Index.

Before that, I was Postdoc in the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge, and even before that, I was a PhD student in computational statistics and applied mathematics at the University of Western Australia. My research was in data assimilation and machine learning for fluid mechanics problems.

I am a passionate research engineer and mathematical modeller, and thoroughly enjoy building and maintaining systems to model things.
